After using the Adidas Supernova Glide for 1 month and 125 km to be exact , what can I say about it ? If I compare it with my other shoes , I would say Adidas Supernova Glide has more cushioning compared with other shoes .
How do I know that , is it psychological you may ask ?
Its not . Reason was that on one of my tranining runs , there was a day which I used a supposedly good cushioning shoe and that was the Asics Gel 1120 . It was quite nice using this 367 gm shoe .
The next day , I then used the Adidas Supernova Glide , which is just a little bit lighter by just 6 gm and no one would have felt the difference .
My , I tell you , running on Adidas Supernova Glide was such a luxury and such a "glide" if I may pun . It ws so much different from the Asic . It was so easy on the knees and on impact , I don't know how to explain but there is some sort of little spring to it .
SLOW RUN
In fact , when on slow runs , its easy to run on .
FAST RUN
On fast run , I can really feel that Adidas Supernova Glide is very different from my current Asics . I can really run fast effortlessly and better then if i were to run fast on Asics . I'm not joking that it was easier to run fast on Adidas Supernova Glide . I can tell you why .
Because there was one day , I went for speed tranning at the track , I took a shoe that looked like my light weight Asic racing shoe , the Asic Ohana racer . During the run , towards the end , I find it was getting a bit harder to run in which in usual circumstance it would be easy and light . Then as i was going back after the trainning , I looked at the shoe and it was a wrong Asics , it was the trainer not the speedwork racer !
The next day , I had a training run and used the Adidas Supernova Glide , every 2.3km round I ran at Lake Garden was faster and faster . I could feel my legs getting tired but because when we run fast , we tend to have larger strides making our landing harder , the shoe helped with the landing and translated the hard land into a quick response for the next stride , if I may explain this in the simplest layman terms .
It was such a difference and such a glide !
Overall
Overall , highly recommended , it is easy on the legs because of the superb cushioning and response . You will not regret buying it . Its better than the other Adidas that I have !

Everyday Health has over 25 million monthly unique visitors to their website, and there is a lot of potential exposure and traffic to come from blogging with the market leader in online health information. It’s also an excellent platform to promote education and awareness of asthma and exercise, and any cutting edge research or advice.
Let me know if this is something that you’re interested in and might like to talk more about. I enjoyed reading some of your old posts, and I think you have a unique perspective that Everyday Health readers would love for you to share. You are truly an inspiration to asthmatics everywhere. Best of luck in your next race.
